CCAM News

CCAM have recently launched a monthly newsletter focusing on the development areas in which they are currently active. Excerpts from these newsletters as well as links to download them are shown below:

August 2009 Newsletter August 2009: Croatia Newsletter

Dubrovnik"One of the downsides to working in the international property market is the travelling and worst of all the inconvenience of getting stuck somewhere due to a missed flight! On a recent site visit myself and a colleague missed our flights back to London and being a Friday of all days could not get another one until the Saturday afternoon. Fortunately we were in Dubrovnik at the height of the summer season and there are not too many better places in the world to be stranded. A quick call got us booked into the Dubrovnik Hilton which if you want to be near the old town is perfectly situated, and you want to be near the old town on a summer evening. The concierge booked a table for us at my favourite restaurant, Gills, but more about that later."

July 2009 Newsletter July 2009: Poland Newsletter

Krakow"Following on from last month when we highlighted the largely undiscovered investment potential of Montenegro, I thought we would focus on a more traditional but just as exciting European country this time; Poland, and in particular the historical city of Krakow.

In our travels throughout Europe and Eastern Europe the current state of the financial and property markets is always the main topic of conversation. The one point everyone seems to agree on is that Poland seems to be the country in Europe least affected by the economic downturn and there is a lot of positive press and commentary relating to the solid economic and social fundamentals of Polish society."

June 2009 Newsletter June 2009: Montenegro Newsletter

Kotor"Cameron & Cameron Asset Management Ltd ("CCAM") are going to be producing a series of newsletters about the countries we are investing into and bringing you a bit of inside information into what’s currently hot on the property development scene. This is our first one and we hope you enjoy it. If you have any feedback we would love to hear it and if you don’t want to receive the newsletter then please send us an unsubscribe notice!

We were in Montenegro last week for a function at the UK Ambassadors’ residence in Podgorica. Montenegro is a really hot topic on the international property development scene right now and we had the opportunity to talk to a number of key political and banking figures and came away with the positive knowledge that things are moving ahead in
Montenegro."
